I have this same message posted earlier, but no one took a look to even view it, so I was wondering if the title was to vague...so here is what I posted earleir.

I am mapping a shared/enabled folder via a batch file. In the batch file is the "net use," command that maps the drive to the shared folder. When I execute the the vix api, RunProgramInGuest, I see the batch file run on the VM and checking the map drive I see the mapping there. The return from the batch file is successful. However, the folder does not show up on "My Computer," file nor in save file application drop down boxes. Also, I cannot access the folder using the drive letter I mapped to.
But, when I run the same batch file manually (double clicking) on the VM all works fine, which is great because I know that there is nothing wrong with the batch file. However, I need to execute this batch file automatically.
Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?
