We are performing a number of guest operations through Vix (1.12), mainly to execute script files over virtual machines (Windows 2008 R2) hosted on VCenter 5.5 (Esxi hosts 5.5). Some of the blocking operations are taking a very long time to execute and then fail with a VIX_E_CANCELLED error; this isn't always happening, failures are occurring intermittently. Any idea what might be going on here? Could it be that the VIX_E_CANCELLED error actually refers to some sort of timeout ? The scripts only take a few seconds to execute. Thanks
